America 2049 is a facebook game I worked on for the global human rights organization America 2049 is a Facebook game created by the global human rights organization called Breakthrough, located in New York City. The game takes place in an alternate reality and presents a near-future America at a dangerous crossroads. Human rights are in peril and democracy is on the brink of destruction.
My tasks in this project were to design and build in-game graphics such as clues, posters and other artifacts that players would find while playing the game. I also designed the game’s promotional poster and the marketing materials. Close to 200 graphic assets were developed for America 2049.
The primary challenge of this project was creating various visual styles to reflect a wide range of aesthetics, as it had to appear that multiple parties had contributed content.
